Thank you so much Abby for your kind message I really appreciated it. I really have to watch my boundaries with some people especially my son who can be so controlling and egotistical and I’m really trying to say no to watch my boundaries with him 🙏💚

I think one way to raise an egoist from childhood is to never give them praise, never say 'job well done' and never tell them that you love them. If you do want to recognize your egoist in training, just criticize their work no matter how well it is done and point out every fault. By the time they are old enough to drive, you have done your job and they young egoist is ready to go and bully the world.

I’m not sure why that’s relevant here - we want less people who are egotistical. Was this your personal experience?

A cautionary tale, yes. This type does not rise out of nothing. I was trying to point out that the bully egoist is still and forever trying to prove something to someone, trying to 'win' every interaction. Intensely competitive, but to no good or reasonable end. Hitler, Biden...Macron, Johnson....it's worth understanding what made/makes them so evil.

I think some of them are empty vessels in which pure evil can reside. They know not what they do.
