What if the world really was flat?
We need to be able to talk about everything - even the things that scare us.
It's the first day of June. I hope you are getting outside and enjoying the sunshine. My dahlias are growing and I just planted some sunflowers. I love this time of year.
I've noticed all the anger and fear in the ethers right now. There are so many people arguing at the moment - there’s a lot of anger around. We have been going through a clear-out, a purging, and it shows! I find it very interesting how people are currently fighting about things they care about with passion, yet many of them are not listening to each other, or hearing what is being said in the exchange. It’s frequency mis-matching. It’s also interesting that one of the heated topics right now is whether or not the Earth is round or flat.
It seems quite archaic to be going back to this old argument - you would think with our technology that we are already intimate with the nature of this reality that we live in. But the truth is, we don’t know for sure. And if you question this reality, people get very agitated, and upset.
When I was seven years old my father said to me, “What if God created the world a split second ago and you with it, with all of your memories intact. How can you prove this is not true?”
I couldn’t. For every argument I made, he had a perfectly valid counter-argument. It was a lot for a seven year old to take in.
This conversation stayed with me my entire life. You cannot prove that God did not create you with your memories intact, just a split second ago. What’s even more interesting, is that my father cannot for the life of him remember this pivotal moment in my spiritual development. Which shows me that it was an Angel, or God himself, speaking to me, through him.
The result of this pivotal moment, for me, meant that I never became deeply attached to the structure of this reality, because there is always a possibility that it is not what it seems.
So back to these arguments about whether the Earth is round or flat - they can be fun and interesting if people are open minded and not in fear, and ready to explore different possibilities. But they’re not - most people cling to their ideas of what they think the world is for dear life, to the point that they cannot tolerate any argument against it.
We need to allow for the possibility that we don’t understand the true nature of our reality, but we also need to allow for people that aren’t ready to question it.
This isn’t a side note, it’s relevant - we have come out of a period of intense energies where we have been severely bombarded by lightcodes coming in directly from the sun. I know many people didn’t feel a thing, whilst others got severely ill. I believe that those of us who are sensitive and have done our inner work felt it, I certainly did, and am still feeling the reverberations of it all, and am still learning what it all means, for me, and for us as a collective.
I think it’s bringing on a renaissance period, where we can see farther than we used to. There are no veils. If you silence your mind you can hear your higher self talking. Your higher self never tells a lie. If it’s lies, then it’s still your egoic self, or your small-self as I prefer to call it. Learning how to tell the difference between the two is your inner work.
I think we should talk about whether the Earth is flat or round without attacking anyone. We should question our reality, all the time. We need to talk about fear, too. Fear that we could be wrong. Fear that we are going to die, at some point in our lives. (I talk about fear with Marie Byrne in Healing For Healers, I think it’s a great discussion, thanks Marie!)
What if it is proven that the world is, indeed flat? How would that shake your world? What if the world is flat because we are a TV show on somebody else’s flat-screen TV on a different planet and everybody is watching us to see what we do next? Prove to me that that’s not the case. You can’t, can you?
Go watch Men in Black (the first one) with a different eye.
I also made a video for the first day of June, I've shared that below, too. Hope you enjoy it, it’s along the same lines as what I’ve just spoken about. Hope you have a wonderful month, I’m here in the comments, and also on Telegram. 🙏🏻
"You cannot prove that God did not create you with your memories intact, just a split second ago."
God actually did something partially like this for the builders of the Tower of Babel. Think about it. These builders had memories in one language which were suddenly only accessible via another language. Their memories were the same, the meanings of the words were the same but the actual words were different.
Later in Acts chapter 2, we see the Spirit adding (not replacing) languages to the disciples' repertoire. What a strange feeling that would have been as well.
I'm not sure that the nature of our earthly reality can be 'proven' one way or the other, although it can be a fun topic to delve into if you have the time and the interest. And I like your father's question to your 7-year-old self. Must have had a profound effect for you to remember the conversation.
I realised quite some years ago that Nasa has lied repeatedly about the Moon missions and much else besides. Your guess is as good as mine as to why they would do such a thing. But then I can say the same about the many other lies we are told every day by politicians, media, etc.
None of this explains the shape of the earth of course. I doubt if any of us will ever know the truth about that (in this life) but I suspect it is much more marvellous than either the globe earth or flat earth theories seem to suggest.
What I do believe is that when I gaze up into the night sky, particularly when there is no light pollution around, I am somehow looking into infinity - into God in fact. Can't prove it of course but it's enough for me.
