I'm interested in the solstice and the seasons. My 2022 calendar tells me that Winter begins on Dec. 21st. Thought it was a mistake until I heard that maybe our calendar (Julian/Gregorian?) is wrong, that there are actually 13 months in the year, or should be, and that New Year's Day falls on April 1st when spring is awakening nature.
Happy Christmas to you too! Thanks for your comment. April makes so much more sense to be a new year, but the Celtic New Year is actually in October! As is the Jewish one too. Chinese New Year is February. January is a time for hibernation not for starting anything new.
Hi from Oregon, thanks so much AW, it's great to see your face and your hat and your pigtail and your freckles, I too am freckled a bit. And your beautiful scarf, I can feel it's softness from here. BEst
Love this❣️ Needed this. Truly - thank you for all you do in the world. 🙏🏼 I very much like your spin on the rollercoaster analogy. Watching with champagne and love, as opposed to hopping back on. (Though I find that I slip - and the whirlwind as it flies past tugs at me some… Working on that!) Looking forward to the clearing on Wednesday!
Brill. Great to hear some UNcommon sense! Thanks.

Interesting eh?
Happy Christmas Abby.
