You bring up some amazing points. Part of being a human being is that we will always have difference in opinions, what is being lost in all this hoopla is the fact it's okay to have a different viewpoint.... The key is to realize our differences are what makes life interesting... If we were all the same and shared the same opinion, it would be an awfully boring life.
I work in healthcare, so the points you made are very evident in my piece of the world. I never expected that in my life I would feel shamed for holding to my beliefs.
