Don’t make New Years Resolutions!
This has been on my mind. New Year’s resolutions are sticks we can use to beat ourselves up with. Don’t make them.

Instead maybe pick a theme for the year – for example, I want to work on trusting the Universe more in 2017, and I want to spend more time looking after my body better. It’s a long term approach and it’s do-able.
What would your theme be? Personal growth? To have more fun? To feel better in yourself? Make it big and wide and be strong in it. Don’t start the New Year denying yourself anything. Because you just can’t keep that up. Bring it in, gradually.
Set an intention that this time next year you’ll have learnt something new, or integrated some new habit, or embodied a change or a healthy attitude. You’ll be delighted that you did.
