I’m proud to say that the title and subtitle of this article are not just sayings or clichés for me - they’re practical and real, and have come a result of a podcast I recorded last week, where Lyn, Elaine and I talk about my new Life Mastery Practitioner School.
I want to share this work with you.
I feel so blessed to already have a cohort of students about to graduate, and to have the help of 2 good women to take the school to the next level. Lyn and Elaine - thank you so much for believing in me and in my mission to heal the world by teaching people how to heal themselves. My first cohort of students say it’s already changed their lives.
It’s difficult to explain a practitioner school for a brand new modality when the modality itself is so new there have not been many clients who have experienced it. However the way I’ve approached this - become the master of your life so you can help others learn how to master their lives, is attractive to many people for obvious reasons. Of course the idea of taking responsibility for your life is also not attractive to many (different) people for obvious reasons…
Why did I build this? Always, deep down, I was never afraid of being responsible for myself, my actions, and the consequences of these actions. And I could see the consequences of behaving the way I was told to behave during my initial psychotherapeutic training. I was shocked at how much dependency is taught in traditional psychotherapeutic practices. And I was not going to do it.
I was a rebel from the start!
In my training for the other modalities that I became certified in, it felt like the opposite was happening. There was a lack when it came to boundaries, and this is very prevalent in many complementary therapeutic practices. The therapists are not taught how to hold their clients minds during the sessions, nor are they taught how to teach their clients how to embody the work. (The exception to this has been in some of the shamanic training I experienced, however, I have heard this is not the case for many so I am grateful for my experiences.)
When going through deep energetic process, clients need to bring their brains with them, so they can make sense of what happened to them, so they don’t get stuck and recreate the pattern they were trying to shift. Again it comes back to dependency. Having to return time and time again to your energetic practitioner keeps you disempowered. I like to teach clients how to do the work for themselves.
So what about the therapist? How do they hold the client while holding themselves, setting good boundaries AND create lasting change? Well, I managed to bring it all together. Another tagline - become the therapist you’ve always wanted for yourself - I will put my hands up. That is me. I wanted a therapist who would help me learn how to self-regulate. How to clear my energy field when I pick up something that isn’t mine. How to still my mind and reconnect to my body so I can better hear my inner wisdom. How to call my power and soul back from all the places where its been taken from me, or left behind. This is what Life Mastery Therapy can do. And yes, it’s a lot.
If you ever felt a calling to become a therapist and help people… OR if you ever felt like your current therapeutic work is missing something… Or if you just want to deep dive into your inner work and be supported and held by a community, then maybe, its for you, too.
If you’re a regular reader of my Substack you know I don’t post much about this aspect of the work that I do on here. This corner of my world is to spark my musings and curiosity, and perhaps sometimes I share poetry and the occasional rant. I’m human. But as one human to another, I’ve created a HUGE body of work with this school of mine and I wanted to tell you about it.
If you want to watch the full video with me, Elaine and Lyn, here it is:
We are facilitating a free zoom Q&A July 21st for anyone that is feeling they might like to join the 2026/2027 cohort of students and has any questions about the programme, the therapy, the school or the financials.
You can sign up for that and find out more about everything we are doing here: https://www.lifemasterypractitionerschool.com
Here’s the thing - when everyone says the world is descending into chaos, that everything is breaking - I see things a little differently. I see the world is being exposed for what it always has been, and that in little pockets of the world, people are working away to create something new, something that serves humanity better. I include myself in that. It’s what has been keeping me going these past 2 years. I hope it inspires you, if nothing else, to create something new too. Or perhaps what I share here will inspire you to come and join my new school.
The doors are open.
May you walk in beauty,
Abby

Excellent. The sovereign way... yes. Thank you.
